Welcome to Air Liquide Western Australia Pty Ltd (ALWA), a joint-venture company between Wesfarmers Ltd and Air Liquide Australia Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air Liquide – the World Leader in Gases for Industry, Health and the Environment.

ALWA was established in 1965 to service the Western Australian market and now holds a sizeable and growing percentage of that market. The company operates throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory and is managed locally with the Head-office being in Perth.

ALWA offers its own delivery solutions depending on the particular characteristic of the gas and the individual requirements of the customer. Our gases can be supplied as compressed single gas cylinders or packs, in insulated cryogenic liquid trucks or by pipeline networks. We also supply on-site generator solutions, which are designed to produce gases directly on the customer's site.

We supply a number of industrial and medical gases including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen and carbon dioxide. Also available, is an extensive range of welding and speciality gases. Our products and services are supplied to a diverse range of industries including: welding, mining, agriculture, manufacturing, food processing, food preservation, medical and hospitality.  We are much more than a supplier of gases and offer a wide range of services capable of precisely meeting our customers’ needs.

Being innovative is a key factor to our success. For example, our ARCAL with ALTOP package is easy to use and promotes safe and cost effective high quality welding. This package offers several innovations including a new, highly tuned gas mixture for the welding industry. An industry first!

CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRES – ALWA operates branches in Perth, Kalgoorlie, Bunbury and Darwin and has over 60 Agents throughout WA and the NT, in Metropolitan and Regional areas, to supply a wide range of gases over the counter.  A list of our current Agents can be found on our website under the “Agents” tab.

AIR LIQUIDE WA HEALTHCARE was formed in 1997 in recognition of the unique needs of the medical sector.  Our Healthcare division supplies over 900 home oxygen patients in Perth as well as several hundred additional patients in other locations in WA and the NT. The division is also a major supplier of medical gases and innovative gas management systems to many Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Medical Centres and is active in the supply of new products and services associated with sleep disordered breathing.
